BE SURE TO ENABLE THE ALERTS FOR EMAILS AND TEXTS SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ADD MORE MONEY IF YOU STAY LONGER ON THE WHARF THAN YOU PAID FOR INITIALLY.

THERE IS NO LOST AND FOUND ON THE WHARF. FOR ITEMS YOU MAY HAVE LOST ON THE WHARF, CALL 831-646-3830 AND SELECT RECORDS DEPARTMENT TO FILE A LOST ITEM REPORT WITH THE MONTEREY POLICE. THE MERCHANTS ARE ASKED TO CONTACT THE POLICE WHEN THEY FIND SOMETHING SUCH AS A WALLET OR KEYS, ETC.
The Marina Lot and Waterfront Lot now operate as one SELF-PAY lot referred to as the Waterfront Lot. With this change, the rate was adjusted. The rate is $1.75 per hour from 9 am - 8 pm with a daily max of $12.00 to match the Marina Lot rate. A doublespace is $2.25/hour with a maximum of $19.00. The lot zone is #21031 using the app. There are also many pay stations to use if you prefer not to use the ParkMobile app.

RV Parking is permitted in the Depot Lot, East Depot Lot as well as the Waterfront lot. Unfortunately spaces cannot be reserved and spaces are first come first serve. Although RVs may park overnight in these lots, please be advised per City Ordinance Sec. 20-85 - Persons may not camp overnight/sleep in a vehicle on any City street or in parking lot.

There is a free To Go/Curbside Parking Space in the lot at the head of the Wharf off of Scott/Olivier Street near the parking kiosk. There are a very limited number of 30 minute parking spaces there, too. The Commercial Parking Loading Zone spaces are being enforced. The MST Trolley is in operation with pick up and drop off here through Labor Day.
The Annual City of Monterey Locals Parking decal sticker is available for City of Monterey Residents for $20 and includes 2 free hours of parking seven days a week in the Waterfront and other City parking lots.

Driving Directions
From South (Carmel, Carmel Valley & Big Sur): Hwy 1, exit Munras towards the bay. Munras becomes Abrego, then Washington. Enter Wharf parking lot.
From East (Salinas): Take Hwy 1 SW. Exit Monterey. Proceed to 3rd light, turn right on Abrego. Becomes Washington, then runs into Wharf parking lot.
From North (Seaside, Marina): Take Hwy 1 S. Exit Del Monte Ave. Proceed to intersection at Figueroa or Washington and turn right into Wharf parking lot.
From El Estero Visitors Center: Head west on Camino El Estero. Turn left onto Del Monte. Turn right at Figueroa into the Wharf parking lot.
From Pacific Grove, Monterey Bay Aquarium, & Cannery Row: Travel Lighthouse Avenue East. Go through tunnel at Del Monte. Turn left at either 1st or 2nd turn into Wharf parking lot.
Parking
Parking is easy and affordable in Monterey. There are several parking facilities conveniently located near Old Fisherman's Wharf. Fees are economical and all lots are safe and clean. Handicapped parking is available in all lots. RV and trailer parking is available as described below.
Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
**Waterfront Lot is now combined with the Marina Lot -
Located between Washington Street (245 Washington) and Fisherman's Wharf. Best parking for Fisherman's Wharf, the Harbor/Marina and the Coastal Trail. Hourly parking with an attendant. Rates: $1.50 per hour or fraction thereof, $10 maximum per day, Visa and MasterCard accepted.
Trailer pull through spaces available. Best parking for Fisherman's Wharf, the Marina and the Coastal Trail. Pay Station ticket dispensers, $1.50 per hour, $10.00 all day, $16 for double pull-through spaces. . Visa and MasterCard accepted. Change machine available. No unattached trailers are allowed (Monterey City Code Sec. 20-86.5). Enforced everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Municipal Wharf II -
Best parking for Municipal Wharf II, the Marina and Monterey Beach. Pay Station ticket dispenser, $1.50 per hour, $10.00 all day. Visa and MasterCard accepted. Enforced everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 129 spaces.
Depot Lot -
Located at Figueroa Street (269 Figueroa) and Wharf II. Best parking for Fisherman's Wharf, Wharf II, the Marina, Monterey Beach and the Coastal Trail. Pay Station ticket dispenser, Single Space: $1.50 per hour; $10.00 all day; double pull-through space: $2.00 per hour, $16.00 all day. Visa and MasterCard accepted. RV and trailer parking available. No unattached trailers are allowed (Monterey City Code Sec. 20-86.5) Enforced everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 110 Spaces.
SP Lot -
Located at Figueroa Street and Wharf II. Best parking for Fisherman's Wharf, Wharf II, the Marina, Monterey Beach and the Coastal Trail. Pay Station ticket dispenser, $1.50 per hour, $10.00 all day. Enforced everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 30 spaces.
East Depot Lot -
Located on Figueroa Street (285 Figueroa) and Window on the Bay Park. Gravel lot, best parking for Wharf II, the Marina, Monterey Beach and the Coastal Trail. Pay Station ticket dispenser. Single Space:$1.50 per hour, $10.00 all day. double pull-through space: $2.00 per hour, $16.00 all day. RV and trailer parking available. No unattached trailers are allowed. (Monterey City Code Sec. 20-86.5) Visa and MasterCard accepted. Enforced everyday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 50 Spaces.
Monterey Bay Park -
Best parking for Window on the Bay Park, Monterey Beach and the Coastal Trail. Pay Station ticket dispenser, $1.50 per hour, $10.00 all day/$16.00 trailer pull through spaces. Visa and MasterCard is accepted. Enforced everyday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 34 spaces.
Downtown Garages - East and West
Located at 340 Tyler Street between Franklin Street and Del Monte Avenue. Good parking for Fisherman's Wharf and the Waterfront. Hourly parking to be prepaid before exit. First hour free, $1.00 per half hour and $12 maximum per day, Visa and MasterCard accepted. For some special events and night entry, a flat rate will be charged at entry. Maximum vehicle height is 6-feet 8-inches. There are two free electric vehicle charging parking stations located in the first floor of the garage near the Franklin Street entrance. Monthly permits available. 238 spaces (West) and 590 spaces (East).
Heritage Harbor Parking Lot - Alternative Parking Choice (during busy weekends).
Located conveniently on Scott Street above Pacific Street, over 300 spaces are available and it is just 2 short blocks from the head of the Wharf. Hourly parking. Hourly rate is $1 per half hour and $15/day.

Fisherman's Wharf is within walking distance from most downtown Monterey hotels (Portola Hotel, Monterey Marriott, Hotel Pacific, Monterey Hotel, Casa Munras, Casa Abrego and Merritt House, among others), the Golden State Theatre and many other attractions.
Restrooms
There are convenient restrooms in the dark brown Harbormaster building There are also restrooms on the Wharf itself, halfway down on the left near the Big Fish Grill.

Although Old Fisherman’s Wharf businesses have always had high cleaning standards, we have initiated new cleaning and sanitization protocols throughout the property. The staff at all of our merchants have gone through rigorous training on how to uphold the required health and safety protocols.

There are public restrooms on and near the Wharf including in a brown building in the parking lot near the Harbormaster Office to the right of the kiosk as you drive into the Waterfront Lot on the right side and near the end on the left before Big Fish Grill

Cents of Change
Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf is pleased to feature one of the City of Monterey's "Cents of Change" bright orange meters at the head of the Wharf. 100 percent of all donations will go to city funding for homeless programs that provide emergency housing, food, family reunification and other emergency services. The meter is located across from the pink Harbor House Gifts.
